Eligibility

Not everyone qualifies for tirzepatide treatment. A licensed provider will evaluate your individual health profile.

Who May Be Evaluated

You may be a candidate for provider evaluation if the following apply to you. Final eligibility is always determined by a licensed healthcare provider based on your complete medical profile.

  • Age 18 or older — Tirzepatide treatment is only evaluated for adults
  • BMI of 27 or higher — with at least one weight-related health condition, or a BMI of 30 or higher regardless of comorbidities
  • Weight-related health conditions — such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or obstructive sleep apnea
  • Committed to lifestyle changes — willing to follow dietary guidance, increase physical activity, and attend regular provider check-ins
  • Interested in dual-action GIP/GLP-1 treatment — tirzepatide activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, which may offer distinct benefits compared to single-receptor treatments

Who May Not Qualify

The following conditions or circumstances may prevent a provider from prescribing tirzepatide. This list is not exhaustive — your provider will conduct a complete evaluation.

  • Under 18 years of age — tirzepatide treatment through this platform is only available to adults
  • Pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or nursing — tirzepatide has not been studied in pregnant or breastfeeding individuals and should be discontinued at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy
  • Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN2 — GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists carry a boxed warning related to thyroid C-cell tumors
  • History of pancreatitis — tirzepatide may increase the risk of pancreatitis and is generally not recommended for patients with a history of this condition
  • Severe gastrointestinal conditions — including gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel disease, or bowel obstruction that may be worsened by GLP-1 receptor agonists
  • Type 1 diabetes — tirzepatide is not indicated for the treatment of type 1 diabetes and may increase the risk of hypoglycemia when used inappropriately
  • Known allergy to tirzepatide or its components — if you have experienced a hypersensitivity reaction to tirzepatide or any inactive ingredient in the formulation

What to Expect During Evaluation

The evaluation process is designed to be thorough, safe, and convenient.

1

Health Questionnaire

You will complete a comprehensive online health intake covering your medical history, current medications, allergies, weight history, and health goals. This typically takes 10-15 minutes and is fully HIPAA-compliant.

2

Provider Review

A licensed healthcare provider reviews your complete health profile. They may request additional information, recent lab work (such as A1C, metabolic panel, or thyroid function), or schedule a live consultation before making a clinical determination.

3

Clinical Decision

Your provider will determine whether tirzepatide treatment is appropriate for your situation. If prescribed, you will receive a personalized treatment plan with dosing instructions. If not, your provider may recommend alternative approaches or suggest consulting your primary care physician.

Note: Provider evaluation is a genuine medical assessment — not a guaranteed approval. Treatment is only prescribed when it is clinically appropriate for your individual health profile.

State Availability

Tirezapitide connects patients with providers who are licensed in specific US states. Availability may vary based on provider licensing, state telehealth regulations, and pharmacy shipping restrictions.

State availability details will be provided during the health intake process. If our providers are not licensed in your state, we will let you know before any charges apply.

Compounded tirzepatide is not FDA-approved. All treatments require evaluation and prescription by a licensed healthcare provider. Individual results may vary. This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
